Strikingly black strapping foliage which curls back on itself. Unique in form and colour.

Possible Situation
The black foliage of this variety makes it ideal to mix with bright foliage and flower such as Iberis 'Golden Candy' or Sedum 'Gold Mound'

Ideal Conditions
Prefers full sun, or partial shade with free-draining, but moist soil or compost.

Temperature Tolerance
A hardy plant which should survive normal winter conditions outside, especially if protected from the hardest frosts.
