Description
Close tufted evergreen plant with filament like, or “fibre-optic” leaves. These are then replaced by sheaths over time.

Possible Situation
Excellent for use in paved areas, bowls and other containers and can also be used as a marginal aquatic plant.

Ideal Conditions
Prefers full sun, or partial shade with moist or free-draining soil or compost.

Temperature Tolerance
A hardy plant which should survive normal winter conditions outside, especially if protected from the hardest frosts.
