Description
Familiar aniseed flavour from the silver-green foliage of this herbaceous, upright, but spreading plant. Often used in sauces, vinegars, chicken and egg dishes.

Possible Situation
Best in pots and tubs placed in a sunny position without too many other vigorous herbs and other plants.
Ideal Conditions
Prefers full sun with free-draining soil or compost.
