Narrative Description:

A succulent with origins in Mexico that produces dense rosettes of thick, lobed glaucus-blue foliage which gains a subtle pink tinge as they mature. White flowers are infrequent, but can emerge on short, hanging pedicels.

Ideal Conditions:

Plant in full sun in an open airy location with well-drained soil and water sparingly, allowing soil to dry between watering. Keep the foliage reasonably dry during winter months if possible.

Possible Situation:

Perfectly suited for planting in gravel gardens, paved areas, rockeries and small containers. Try mixing with other succulents and alpines.
