We are looking to appoint motivated, keen and enthusiastic new staff into the company, to join our existing team of skilled horticulturists.


The Job Role:
The successful candidate will be trained to work in all areas of production throughout the nursery - from where the plants arrive to when they are despatched. We pride ourselves in moving staff throughout departments to keep the day to day work interesting and help each member develop a variety of skills.
Amongst other skills, the successful candidate will be trained to:

• Pot, trim and weed plants
• Cut, insert and maintain cuttings in our propagation area
• Maintain plants in production are whilst they develop
• Collate and despatch plant orders

Qualifications and Skills:
The successful candidate should primarily be enthusiastic, consistent in their approach and willing to learn in a vibrant glasshouse production environment with high quality output. Dexterity (nimble fingers) is an advantage for many jobs on the nursery.

Previous experience working within a horticultural production environment would be beneficial but not essential. Other production manufacturing experience can also be of benefit.
