Narrative Description:

A fantastic selection of this evergreen sedge originating from central Europe, Carex flacca has blue-grey swords that form clumps initially, but will gradually spread if allowed. Flowers are approximately 30cm in height, unassuming brown to black in colour.

Ideal Conditions:

Prefers full sun with free-draining soil or compost.

Possible Situation:

The versatility of the grasses allow them to be placed in nearly any situation, from being in a container, basket, or raised bed, to being in the border or rockery.
