Consumer Information

Narrative Description:

A superb snapdragon selection that is hardy and perennial in nature, rather than annual like most Antirrhinum. Beautiful rich purple flowers are borne in great numbers throughout spring and summer, complemented by the purple-flushed, dark green disease-resistant foliage. A robust plant that is destined to become a big favourite with gardeners. Shiryu is the Japanese word for purple dragon – dragons are revered as benevolent deities and symbols of good fortune in Japanese folklore.
