Kernock Park Plants are extremely proud to announce that our entire range of plug plants will be produced in 100% peat-free media for the 2025 growing season (joining our existing peat-free liner product range).

We have been trialling various peat-free formulations in propagation media for a number of years, alongside our standard production, and having already reduced the peat content of our standard media in stages by 60%, we are now confident to take the last step and move all of our 1,200 products to 100% peat-free production.

This will give clarity for our customers, and where relevant, it should also facilitate a positive conversation on growing media with their customers/consumers. In addition, where our plugs are being potted-on to peat-free growing media, it should assist in their establishment.
